Oral English Yr 5 and 6.
On Thursday the 14th of April years 5 and 6 will present their finalists for the 2016 Oral English competition.
Boys are to choose an extract from a book they have read and loved. They need to be mindful of who their audience will be and be sure it will be engaging to them.They will then practice reading it aloud to ensure familiarity and fluency. We will cover other success criteria in class.
Finalists will be decided on in class and they will be notified by Tuesday the 12th of April.
The final will be held in the chapel at 9 am.
Parents and supporters are welcome to attend.
