- Your Unit of Inquiry presentation is due to be finished by the end of week 7
- Spelling words below and in the 6NL folder. Practice each word three times, and write three super sentences using three of your words in each sentence.
- Complete a minimum of 60 minutes per week on Maths Whizz.
- Read for 15 minutes per night.

TERM 4
As always at Hereworth we have a very busy term ahead of us, so I have included below a link to the term calendar which contains the most important events.
Some events that will definitely apply to the boys in the MiddleSchool are:
End of Year PAT assessments - Week 7: There will be 4 PAT assessments conducted during this week as part of the end of year reporting process.
Speech Finals - Week7: Boys will all be writing a 2-3 minute speech on a topic of their choosing, and presenting these in class during week 6.
Spelling Bee - Week 8: The school's top spellers will be found during testing in week 7, before the traditional spelling bee element to decide placings, which will happen on the Monday of week 8.
Week 9 - As always, week 9 will be full of interesting events and changes to the normal routine. All events are outlined in the calendar.
Our learning focus for this term is about 'Sharing the Planet', which is further focused by the guiding statement of 'We are the kaitiaki of our planet'. This will be guiding the work that we do in social science, writing and science, culminating in the boys presenting their inquiry work during week 8.
