Reading and Writing: We are looking at persuasive writing and continuing to develop strategies to deepen comprehension of more complex texts.
Oral language: reflecting and recording their challenges and successes they are having with their chosen challenge.
Social sciences: Rio Olympics: looking at the past and present Olympics with a focus on the values of the games. A mini challenge where boys work towards their own personal goals.
Science: Astronomy- developing skills in constructing knowledge and using ICT tools and models to deepen understanding and application of astronomical phenomenons in our day to day world.
Maths: a focus on understanding and using fractions, ratios and percentages which builds on the work we have done in both previous addition/subtraction and multiplication/division units.
